We all know that the only way to genuinely and deeply communicate is to look into the eyes of the person you are trying to connect with. Well, it seems dogs know this too! A study published in Current Biology suggests that a key difference between dog and wolf behavior is the dogs’ ability to look at the human’s face.

We know that you didn’t need a group of Ph.D. scientists to tell you that dogs look at your face when communicating with you.

However, we found the article fascinating in how it found such a simple reason for such a big difference between dogs’ behavior and that of their closest living relative: the wolf.
